Electronic Design, Manufacture and Repair
Design
Cantron Electronics uses the latest tools and software in its design of electronic systems. We have over the last 8 years designed and manufactured over 300 different systems. NO job is too small.
Design and manufacture are carried out as two separate phases. The design phase consists of the following stages.
- Meet with the client and discuss the nature of the development.
- Re-asses the problem and suggest possible improvements and methods of operation. As well as inform the client of the design options
- Quote on the design and provide the client with an idea of the cost of manufacture for the required quantity.
- Should the client accept, design and manufacture a prototype system.
- Test the system in the field and discuss any alterations or improvements the client may need.
- If necessary, re-prototype the system.
Only once the client is happy that the system is working to his original specification is the payment for the development due. Should Cantron Electronics, for some reason not be able to get the system working, the client will not be liable for any payment.
Cantron Electronics has, in the past, never not been able to fulfil its commitment to a project.
Clients are provided with the any artworks or computer files regarding this design. Cantron Electronics withholds no claim to the technology and will release all the relevant data pertaining to this design so that the client, should he please, could have the product manufactured at another company of his choice .
Manufacture
Cantron Electronics has a small factory that is equipped for small to medium scale manufacture. Any job that is greater than our facilities will allow, is subcontracted to a trusted external manufacture company.
Repair
Cantron Electronics will accept any electronic equipment for repair. After briefly analyzing the equipment, we will be able to establish whether or not we will be able to repair it or not.
Only equipment repaired will be charged for.
We also offer an electronic signature analysis service. This works as follows: -
- A good circuit board is placed onto our analyzer together with a bad circuit board.
- The analyzer then injects electronic signals into different areas of the circuitry. Returned is a visual signature of the good circuitry.
- At the same time, the same signal is injected into the bad circuitry. Any differences in the results are used to identify the faulty components.
- These components are then replaced and the test is done again until both circuit boards measure the same.
With this technology, it is unnecessary to physically connect the power to the circuit boards, or have the machine to which they belong, present for the repair.
Also, it is unnecessary to have circuit diagrams or a working knowledge of the exact function of the circuit boards.
There is about a 95% success rate to this technology .
Circuit board repairs can be done without the use of a good circuit board as any differences in the signatures of bad boards can be interpreted as faulty components on both of them. These components are then replaced and the boards re-analyzed until both circuit boards are measuring the same. |
